PC security analysts have received reports of security software detecting Framed Display or presenting similar scan results. If your security software indicates the presence of Framed Display, this means that a PUP has been installed on your computer. A Potentially Unwanted Program, is usually an unwanted Web browser extension that is designed to profit at your expense. PUPs are rarely as threatening as viruses, Trojans, rootkits or other threats.
