The FormFetcherPro software from Formfetcherpro.com/index.jhtml is a product of Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. who are known to create ad-supported programs. The FormFetcherPro software is no exception, and the app is observed to exchange data with the servers of advertisers. The FormFetcherPro app is published as freeware on the Chrome Web Store (Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/formfetcherpro/jcohbbeconnbknaeaodohnjcelemnlfc) and it supports versions to Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer too. Installing the FormFetcherPro browser add-on means that you will need to grant it the following rights:

  • Read and change all your data on the websites you visit.
  • Replace the page you see when opening a new tab.
  • Read and change your browsing history.
  • Manage your downloads.
  • Manage your apps, extensions and themes.

The FormFetcherPro add-on is observed to change the new tab page on Chrome to Hp.myway.com/formfetcherpro/ttab02/index.html and use the same portal as the homepage and new tab on Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The sponsors behind Mindspark may receive information from the program regarding how much time you spend online, what sites you open, what search keywords you enter on Hp.myway.com/formfetcherpro/ttab02/index.html and what you download on your machine. An AI analyzes the data, you are shown targeted commercials on related pages, and your new tab will be powered by Hp.myway.com/formfetcherpro/, which is a customized version of Myway.com. The FormFetcherPro software from Mindspark is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may present users with a handy collection of links to Uscis.gov, Irs.gov and State.gov. However, the FormFetcherPro app is aimed at users based on the United States of America and users from other countries may not find it particularly helpful.
