The FlashFree software is deemed by security analysts as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware functionality. The FlashFree extension is deployed as a tool to block Flash and Silverlight objects and started as a clean program, but users began to report ads by FlashFree in their web browser. Web surfers should note that their browsing history, search terms, and bookmarks can be recorded and used by the FlashFree extension to deliver targeted marketing materials. Many computer users may not like that the FlashFree browser extension allows advertisers to insert in-text hyperlinks to sponsored products and services and display ad panels and banners across their preferred online resources. Moreover, the ads loaded by FlashFree may cover your browser surface and may feature links to suspicious Internet locations. No computer user in his right mind would endorse unsafe advertisements, and you may want to remove the FlashFree extension from your system by using a reputable anti-spyware application.
