Finance Alert is a Possibly Unwanted Program that may be installed as a Web browser extension, add-on or plug-in for Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Finance Alert is related to an adware program that may collect and store information associated with the websites the PC user visits and his activity on those websites, such as clicks, impressions and search phrases. The collected information may be used to create and show advertisements and inter-browser discount coupons. Finance Alert adware may proliferate and be installed on a computer via packaged free programs that computer users may acquire from the Internet. Finance Alert adware may affect any Web browser installed on your machine and make alterations to the default browser settings. Finance Alert adware also may alter your default start page and search provider with an unknown website. It is not advised to keep a PUP running on your computer.
