The FilmsNet Start browser extension from Medianetnow.com is an ad-supported program that you can find on the Chrome Web Store if you navigate to Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/filmsnet-start/iiigjoccgnjkohkbfglghdpnbehmlkfj. The FilmsNet Start extension is presented as a tool that can help you enjoy immediate access to free and unlimited movies, TV series and movie reviews. The service provided by FilmsNet Start is made available through an offline HTML page that is loaded as a new tab in your Internet client. You should read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy published on medianetnow.com/terms.php and medianetnow.com/privacy.php. However, you may want to know that FilmsNet Start is published by a proxy of Eanswers.com, which is a cyber news outlet. The Eanswers.com Web portal is observed to use twenty proxy sites to collect data like search terms, browsing history, installed extensions, Web apps and themes.

The data is gathered through browser extensions published by Medianetnow.com, Superappbox.com, Goamuze. com, Mixplugin.com, Ienjoyapps.com, Bettersearchtools.com, Playmediacenter.com, Theappjunkies.com, Bettersearchtools.com, Playmediacenter.com, Myappline.com, Searchalgo.com, Myappline.com, Getappsonline.com, Iezbrowsing.com, Friendlyappz.com, Espeedcheck.com, Iezbrowsing.com and Cantstopplaying.com. Installing the FilmsNet Start allows the extension to read all data you exchange on the Internet, detect what you download and record what you have installed in your browser. FilmsNet Start is identified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) by Medianetnow.com that changes your new tab page and does not provide free access to movies as you are lead to believe. The program at hand is known to cause browser redirects via movies.eanswers.com to Yahoo. Eanswers.com is well-known for collecting Internet usage statistics via browser extensions to gain ad revenue via Yahoo Ads. PC users who may be uncomfortable with how FilmsNet Start works and the way Eanswers.com collects data may want to remove the app. You should know that there are more than a few clones of the FilmsNet Start app such as the FilmsJunkie Search, the VideoJunkie Search, and the nJoy Movies Search. We found several other clones with the same product description on the Chrome Web Store at the time of research:
