EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

The Fastfreshtabs browser extension that you may find in free software packages is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The Fastfreshtabs browser extension has an official page at fastfreshtabs.com, but it does not contain any information as to who created Fastfreshtabs. Also, there is no contact information at Fastfreshtabs browser extension and users have no way of knowing if Fastfreshtabs receives updates or not. The dubious reputation of Fastfreshtabs is deteriorated further by the presence of nearly a dozen clones. The clones are hosted on the same IP address as fastfreshtabs.com, but there may be more. The ones we found are registered to the following domains and refer to apps with slightly different names:
- best-search.net - My Search
- eloadalltabs.com - Load All Tabs
- oneclickfresh.com - One Click Refresh
- reloadquick.com - Reload Quick
- rightclicksearch.info - Right-Click Search
- search-tool.info - Search Tool
- two-click-search.info - Two Click Search
The Fastfreshtabs extension claims to improve the browser's functionality by adding a button to reload all tabs quickly. However, there was no button added during our tests of the Fastfreshtabs app. Additionally, Mozilla Firefox offers the same feature by defaults, while Google Chrome, Opera, and Firefox need a third-party extension to enable the simultaneous reload of all opened tabs. The Fastfreshtabs software does not appear to perform as expected and the app may add sponsored search results on Google, Bing and Yahoo. The links injected by Fastfreshtabs may redirect users to phishing pages and unreliable online stores. PC users that have installed the Fastfreshtabs extension may experience limited browser performance and increased loading time for pages. The usage of Fastfreshtabs is not recommended to users due to browser redirects and the questionable origin of the app. You should consider installing a trusted anti-malware scanner that can remove the Fastfreshtabs program and related files.
