'Privacy Violation Alert' pop up is a fake security message that is displayed by the rogue anti-spyware application Total Security. Total Security generates the 'Privacy Violation Alert' pop up message in an attempt to persuade computer users to purchase Total Security to resolve the issue stated in the popup alert. 'Privacy Violation Alert' pop up reads similar to the following.
"Privacy Violation alert!
WARNING Total Security
Alert! Privacy Violation alert! Total Security detected a Privacy Violation. A program is secretly sending yoru private data to an untrusted internet host. Click here to block this activity by removing the threat."
