Everalbum is a dubious image backup developed by Everalbum Inc. that may be installed on your computer automatically while you are installing shareware, torrent installers and freeware. Everalbum is advertised as a free Windows feature that computer users can utilize to protect the photos stored on their computers. To create an illusion of efficiency, Everalbum, once inside your computer will look for unlatched photos. However, its search for unsecured photos may not be accurate because Everalbum will always find positive results, which may include any image it found on your machine. Then, Everalbum will display a button saying ' Secure Now' that, if clicked, will show a window where it is required that you provide your full name, email address and password. Users that accepted to create an account with Everalbum report that the next step was 'Start Free Trial.'
The ones who choose 'No Thanks' reported the appearance of a window saying 'Backing Up Photos' and containing a timer. Nevertheless, the 'Free Trial' will last only for seven days, which makes it appear that the main purpose of Everalbum is to collect critical data from the computer user. It is never a smart move to share your data with third parties because you never know how they may use it. Everalbum is categorized as a Possibly Unwanted Program (PUP) by security researchers. Therefore, you should handle its removal with the assistance of a reliable anti-malware software suite since this is the best path to ensure that all traces of Potentially Unwanted Programs, browser hijackers, and other dubious software will be erased from your machine.
