The eSpeedDownload browser extension is advertised on the Chrome Web Store and Espeedcheck.com as a secure download manager that you might want to install. The eSpeedDownload extension is designed to improve the download speed of your browser and act like a mini-torrent client. Additionally, users are provided with a custom Google search engine at Espeedcheck.com/search to search for media files. You may want to know that the eSpeedDownload extension is perceived as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) because it may alter your new tab page and preferred search aggregator upon installation automatically. Also, the eSpeedDownload extension may show tips on how to optimize your router and WiFi settings that may not apply to your hardware and software setup, and result in a bad Internet connection.
