Eometype.com
Eometype.com is a misleading website that promotes the rogue security application called PcsSecure. Eometype.com is placed into victims' Hosts files by Trojans that can hijack browsers and configure certain system settings. Once inside your system, Eometype.com will run a fake online system scan that has a My Computer GUI. Do not trust any reports produced by this scan or any other security alerts and pop-ups claiming that your system is severely infected; they are just a scam to get users to purchase PcsSecure. To avoid getting infected with browser hijackers and rogue anti-spyware applications, install a reliable security tool onto your PC.
