The EasyEmailSuite Toolbar is an ad-supported product developed by Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. The EasyEmailSuite Toolbar software is available to Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox users via the official Web pages—Free.easyemailsuite.com and Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/easyemailsuite/ifbgbfdfdgfngigejacbmmkeklfahmka. The EasyEmailSuite versions for IE and MF are working a bit differently from the one for Chrome. You will receive a redesigned, new tab and a new start page powered by Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html if you add the EasyEmailSuite Toolbar to Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. The page at Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html is a custom version of the MyWay.com search services provider, which is a partner of Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. and allows the company to monetize Web traffic from Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html. That way you are not required to pay for installing the EasyEmailSuite Toolbar. However, Google Chrome users are given only a new tab replacement that loads the same resources as on Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html but does not change the search settings. The 'Add to Chrome' installation pop-up says that you need to grant EasyEmailSuite the following privileges:
- Read and change all your data on the websites you visit.
- Read and change your browsing history.
- Manage your downloads.
- Manage your apps, extensions and themes.
You may wonder why a simple new tab replacement would need access to your downloads, themes, extensions and Internet history. As stated above, the EasyEmailSuite app is an ad-supported program, and it may use data about your online activities to provide tailor-suited marketing materials on your new tab and start page powered by Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html. Web surfers who installed the EasyEmailSuite Toolbar reported occasional browser redirects to Ext.ask.com/index.jhtml?productName=EasyEmailSuite where they were invited to install the 'Search Extension by Ask.com' app and have their primary search engine changed to Ask.com. The EasyEmailSuite Toolbar is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted program (PUP) that may promote third-party tools and aim to alter your online experience entirely.
Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. is a company that works with Myway.com to divert Web traffic to the servers of Ask.com, which fell out of favor a few years back when dozens of toolbars powered by Ask.com were installed with freeware bundles all the time. PC users that are not fans of Ask.com and the browser redirects to MyWay.com may want to remove the EasyEmailSuite app through the Extensions/Add-ons Manager in IE, Chrome and Firefox. An anti-spyware scanner can help you to clean the tracking cookies downloaded from the time spent on Hp.myway.com/easyemailsuite/S22699/index.html and Ask.com. AV engines are known to alert users of the presence of EasyEmailSuite by Mindspark using the following detection names:
- PUP/Win32.Getforms.R207000
- PUP.WebToolbar.MyWebSearch
- Riskware/Agent
- MyWebSearch.J (v) (not malicious)
- PUP.MindSpark/Variant
- Adware.AdLoadCRT.Win32.544
- PUA.Toolbar.Agent!
- Application.Win32.BrowseFox.nlnbg
