The Driver Talent software was published under the title 'DriveTheLife' in 2015 and re-branded in 2017 as 'Driver Talent.' The Driver Talent software appears to feature a trial version that you can download as 'DriverTalent_setup.exe,' and there is no way to buy the premium version without installing the trial copy first. The trial version of the Driver Talent may allow users to perform system hardware scans and determine what updates are needed for their PC components. However, tests have confirmed that both versions of the Driver Talent do not allow users to customize the automatic scan feature and you cannot download multiple drivers at the same time.

Independent software testers from Lifewire.com and Techadvisor.co.uk have commented on the Driver Talent software and stated that it might help users update their drivers, but the tool might not perform a clean uninstall of old drivers. Also, the Driver Talent utility lacks technical support in English and directs users to seek help at a Chinese forum called bbs[.]160[.]com and send an email to support@drivethelife.com.
