The Download Offer software falls into the category of adware that has browser hijack capabilities. Security analysts note that the Download Offer adware might install a browser plug-in, add-on, extension and a Browser Helper Object on your PC to manipulate your homepage, search provider and new tab page design. The Download Offer adware may use JavaScript and ActionScript3 to inject ads into the body and header of pages you load in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
