Downloader.Chepvil is a noxious Trojan infection that could download and install other malware threats on to the targeted computers. Downloader.Chepvil opens a back door and uses system vulnerabilities to download malware infections from the remote server or unsafe websites. When Downloader.Chepvil is executed, it creates a corrupt system file so that it could connect to a malicious domain to download other viruses and computer infections. Downloader.Chepvil can change your web browser settings and redirect your default homepage to insecure websites. Downloader.Chepvil may also add new shortcuts to your computer desktop, display annoying pop-up ads and stealthily track your Internet surfing habits to collect your personal information.
