Display Settings Ads is a Potentially Unwanted Program that may be downloaded from the Web when PC users download freeware or shareware. Display Settings Ads may result in a variety of system issues when Display Settings Ads is downloaded and installed on the PC. The computer user may agree to download Display Settings Ads when he is downloading other free programs, or he may download Display Settings Ads unknowingly by not supervising the installation process. When computer users download any free program from the Internet and do not follow the download agreement, they may not be aware that other PUPs may come included with the one they are downloading. Once downloaded and installed, Display Settings Ads may execute a number of background processes that may reduce the computer's performance. Display Settings Ads may display disturbing pop-up advertisements on the desktop of the PC. Display Settings Ads may collect the computer user's browsing preferences and share it advertisement distributors.
