EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

The DiskPower program is promoted at Diskpower.biz as a valuable system tool that can help you improve the performance of your standard hard disk drive (HDD) and bring the best from a solid state drive (SSD). The DiskPower program is offered as a replacement for the Disk Defragmenter and the Disk Cleanup that are built into Windows. The official page of DiskPower says that it can provide disk statistics, friendly interface, flexible configuration, scan reports and low-resource consumption. We received reports from users saying that they may experience ads by DiskPower, and experts looked into the application. Security researchers discovered that the DiskPower program does not deliver on its promise to improve the disk performance significantly. The interface of DiskPower is quite simple and devoid of options for customization. The DiskPower software does not provide detailed information on connected HDDs and SSDs like many freeware alternatives do. Moreover, a large portion of the code underneath the main interface of DiskPower is dedicated to advertisement display.
The DiskPower program is supported by ads, and it may install a plug-in to your system that will be active as long as your PC is turned on. The plug-in by DiskPower may inject ads on every page you open, and extensions like AdBlock Plus and AdGuard may stop working. The DiskPower application may uninstall extensions from your browser that aim to block ads by sponsors. As stated above, the DiskPower application may not live up to your expectations, and you may not welcome the torrents of advertisements on your screen. The ads by DiskPower may be shown as pop-up windows and banners. The DiskPower software is similar to the Shield Plus Cleaner Utility and the Disk Optimizer that may run as processes in the background of Windows. DiskPower is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that you might want to remove with a credible anti-spyware tool.
