EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

DiscountBomb is an advertisement-sponsored browser extension or adware that is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. DiscountBomb is advertised as a helpful tool for online shoppers and DiscountBomb does display coupons, deals, pop-up advertisements and similar content. Some of the advertisements displayed by DiscountBomb may be of interest to the computer user. However, the way DiscountBomb uses to display them is very questionable; DiscountBomb monitors the computer user browsing searches to collect leads that will be used to generate these advertisements. The way DiscountBomb usually enters a computer is also questionable; DiscountBomb may enter bundled with a completely unrelated free application downloaded by the computer user. The advertisements exhibited by DiscountBomb are potentially unsafe since they may direct the computer user to compromised websites or cause the installation of additional PUPs and adware.
