Devineoffers.com is a browser hijacker designed to promote other shady websites or load unsafe content. Common between all pages like this one is that they get enabled by some Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) installed on users' computers. Such PUPs have features to control the browser's settings and replace the regular homepage and search engine with Devineoffers.com, or a similar untrusty website. Thus, users of affected computers get redirected to these dubious pages automatically.

When Devineoffers.com is launched, it checks the visitor's IP address to determine their geolocation. Then, the corrupted page decides which action to undertake – it can either display shady promotional content that may contain broken links or redirect the user to other related websites that also are part of the scheme. Devineoffers.com also attempts to get users' permission to send them messages. It uses a clickbait technique that involves displaying an "Allow" button and tricking the user into clicking on it.

PUPs are designed to serve intrusive advertisements, but they also can run corrupted scripts to install other malware threats on users' computers. Most of them also collect browsing and different data kind, like IP addresses, visited URLs, search terms or even login credentials.
