The DealDay browser extension may claim to help active online buyers save money while using DealDay by providing them with limited time offers and special coupons and discounts. You may be interested to know that the DealDay browser extension features a name that is very similar to the legitimate Nigerian shopping website DealDey.com. However, the DealDay extension is deployed incorporated with freeware bundles by adware developers who strive to earn affiliate revenue by using DealDay to push ads in your browser. The DealDay adware is cross-compatible and can operate with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer. Security researchers note that the DealDay adware may use a background process to execute its operations, and it may access your Windows notification settings to play a sound when there are available new promotions. That may prove to be rather disturbing, and it may prevent you from enjoying videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Moreover, the DealDay adware might employ tracking cookies and read your browsing history to build a custom advertising model for you. The DealDay adware may present you with banners, pop-up windows, floating ad boxes and in-text hyperlinks to sponsors. Also, the DealDay adware may suggest you to download and install riskware such as Savings Champion and VPNPrivat that could decrease your overall PC performance. Additionally, the DealDay adware may feature links to untrusted domains and redirect you to low-quality online shops that might not have sufficient security to protect your banking details. Computer users may want to remove the DealDay adware with the services of a trustworthy anti-spyware solution that can secure 5their Internet activities.
