'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Cyber Command of Washington' Virus, is a security threat that shows a scary pop-up alert 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons' made and delivered to affected computers in Washington, USA by the Trojan Urausy. The Trojan locks victimized computer users from accessing the desktop and computer by covering the screen of the targeted computer with a bogus pop-up warning message 'Your computer has been blocked for safety reasons' of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware. The false pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware speaks in the name of the legitimate security USA institution, and blames attacked computer users for breaching certain laws. The fake pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware states that the victimized PC user has been downloading and dispersing copyrighted content, visiting dangerous websites and sending spam email messages to other PC users. The bogus pop-up warning message of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware urges the victim to pay a so-called fine of $300 via MoneyPak or MoneyGram to restore access to the computer and evade prosecution. Computer users should not pay the so-called fine because the pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware is a hoax generated by scammers to steal money from innocent PC users. Legal security software should be used to uninstall the related Trojan and, therefore, rid the computer of the fake pop-up alert of 'Cyber Command of Washington' Ransomware.
