'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Virus, is a security threat that attacks computer users in Pennsylvania, USA. 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware shows a bogus pop-up alert 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons' designed and spread to corrupted PCs by the Trojan Urausy. The Trojan completely blocks the victim from accessing the desktop and PC and forces him to pay a supposed ransom of 300 dollars via MoneyPak or MoneyGram to regain access to the locked computer system. The deceitful pop-up warning message of 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware states that the PC is blocked because the computer user has violated certain laws of USA. The falsified alert of 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware declares that the PC user has been downloading and distributing copyrighted content, such as videos, music or software, watching and distributing pornographic material and visiting malicious websites. The fraudulent pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware is allegedly sent by the legitimate security institution and carries the real name and logo with the goal to fool attacked computer users into believing it comes from the legal security authority. The fake pop-up alert of 'Cyber Command of Pennsylvania' Ransomware accuses target PC users of performing illicit cybercrime activities and, therefore, asks for a so-called fine to evade imprisonment and unlock computers.
