'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Cyber Command of North Carolina' Virus, is a ransomware infection, which affects computer users in Ohio, USA. 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware is distributed by cybercriminals via dangerous websites or downloads of infectious files. 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware is delivered to the targeted computer system via a ransomlock Trojan and, once installed, shows a pop-up image/notification 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons', which includes a webcam and a list of illicit online actions supposedly performed on the compromised PC. The Trojan blocks the victimized computer system and does not enable computer users to start any commands. The fake pop-up alert of 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware states that the PC user has been downloading and distributing copyrighted content including software, video and audio, visiting forbidden websites or sending spam email messages to other PC users and, thus, violated certain laws of USA. The intimidating warning message of 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware also declares that an operating camera is used to record the PC user's files, audio and video to identify him as a criminal. The scary warning message of 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware supposedly comes from the official security institutions of USA in order to make computer users think the announcement is legal. 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware demands a ransom of $300 to be paid via MoneyPak or MoneyGram to restore access to the computer and avoid custody. Do not believe the bogus pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Ohio' Ransomware because it's a hoax created by cybercrooks to pilfer money from trusting PC users.
