'Cyber Command of Illinois' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Cyber Command of Illinois' Virus, is a hoax found as ransomware, which affects PC users in the Illinois state of the United States of America. 'Cyber Command of Illinois' Ransomware propagates to targeted computers with the help of a Trojan Urausy. 'Cyber Command of Illinois' Ransomware covers the screen of the affected PC with a fake pop-up image/warning message 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons' supposedly sent by the legal security authority of USA in an effort to dupe attacked computer users into thinking they have performed cybercrime actions. A false pop-up alert used by 'Cyber Command of Illinois' Ransomware states that the PC has been locked because the computer user was downloading and spreading copyrighted content, software, audio and video, visiting malicious websites and sending spam email messages to other computer users.
