'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware
'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware, also known as 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Virus, is a PC infection that attacks computer users in Hawaii, USA. 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware shows a bogus pop-up notification 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons' made and distributed to corrupted PCs by the Trojan Urausy. The Trojan completely locks the target computer user from accessing the desktop and PC and asks to pay a supposed fine of 300 dollars via MoneyPak or MoneyGram to regain access to the computer. The scary pop-up warning message of 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware states that the PC is locked because the computer user has breached certain USA laws. The fake alert of 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware declares that the PC user has been using and distributing copyrighted content, such as software, videos, or music, visiting dangerous websites and watching and dispersing pornographic material. The misleading pop-up notification of 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware is allegedly sent by the legitimate security authority of USA and uses the official name and logo in an effort to trick victimized PC users into believing it is a real warning message. The false pop-up alert of 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware accuses victims of performing illicit online actions and, therefore, asks for a payment to evade punishment and unlock computers. PC users should not be intimidated by the falsified pop-up alert of 'Cyber Command of Hawaii' Ransomware because it is a hoax produced by attackers to swindle trusting PC users out of their money.
