The Coupnoon Toolbar is promoted in freeware packages as a shopping helper that will provide you with interesting coupons and discounts from 'Best Buy', 'Barnes & Noble' and 'PetSmart'. It may seem like a good idea to install the Coupnoon Toolbar, but you might want to know that security researchers classify it as adware. Also, the Coupnoon Toolbar may appear as an add-on named Coupoon and modify your online settings. The Coupnoon adware is used as a marketing platform to launch surveys, questionnaires and display coupons, discounts, and special offers. The ads by Coupoon may take the form of banners, pop-up and pop-under windows as well as ad boxes and in-text hyperlinks. You should note that the Coupnoon Toolbar functions as a gateway to services and products by third parties that could be located on untrusted websites.
