CoupApp, otherwise known as Coup App is a PUP (potentially unwanted program), which may change the default browser settings on a Web browser. CoupApp may replace the default homepage or search provider with a questionable website, or substitute the default tab of the Web browser any time the PC user tries to open a blank page with an untrustworthy website. CoupApp may be associated with browser hijackers adware that may embed unwanted toolbars or perform other irritating activities. CoupApp may continuously reroute PC users to suspicious websites that may carry a variety of pop-up advertisements and notifications to probably boost Internet traffic and generate advertising income from ad clicks. CoupApp may proliferate and install itself on the computer as an extra program packaged with free software.
