ConvertApps is a suspicious application that may become a burden on your Web clients as soon as it reaches your system. Security specialists classify it as adware to give a clue about its behavior. ConvertApps may create additional marketing content and insert it in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The new ads may appear as pop-ups, banners, in-text ads and interstitial ads. They may become annoying very quickly as they can be found on different pages. You also may notice that some words in the text possess a double underlining. They serve as sponsored links – when you hover your mouse cursor over them, a pop-up will be triggered. Unlike the traditional ads that are a part of a particular Web page and are usually safe, the ads by ConvertApps may lead to some harmful domains.

There are numerous cases when unsuspecting users have been redirected to fraudulent platforms or pages, promoting unsafe software. Even if you decide not to click on the deals regardless of how tempting they seem to be, you may still face issues. The ads are loaded thanks to the resources of your system, which may result in slower browsing speed, freezes or even occasional crashes. ConvertApps is not among those applications that are downloaded willingly. Instead, it may primarily come bundled with another free program. If you want to stop the annoying ads, you need to delete all files of ConvertApps simultaneously. The best method to do it is using a professional security software.
