EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The ControlThis browser plugin is advertised to allow users to block offensive content from pornography, racist, gambling and violence related websites. Security experts note that the ControlThis browser plugin functions similarly to Extreme Blocker and Obrona Blockads and is supported by advertisements. Users who installed the ControlThis app might be presented with many pop-up windows, banners and contextual commercials by sponsors of ControlThis and may be offered to upgrade their defenses by installing the SpyBlocker program. However, SpyBlocker is a rogue anti-spyware tool, and you may be presented with fake alerts to pay for a premium account. The ControlThis browser plugin may prevent websites from loading their advertisements and show you only content approved by its partners. Needless to say, the ControlThis plugin may direct you to visit potentially harmful sites and obstruct your comfortable Internet experience. Security experts perceive the ControlThis app as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware capabilities that may place tracking cookies from third parties on your PC to deliver your tailor-suited ads. Therefore, users may wish to remove all components of the ControlThis plugin by using a reliable anti-malware instrument.
