The ClipBanker Trojan is a threat that can endanger your computer and your privacy and can get inside a machine via corrupted files downloaded from social media, unsafe advertisements, bogus software updates, corrupted email attachments and other popular threat delivery methods. The ClipBanker Trojan, once inside a computer, may start displaying frightening alerts claiming that your computer is infected. Your computer is infected, but not with the threats the ClipBanker Trojan has detected; the real infection it the ClipBanker Trojan itself. It can change the machine's Registry and policies consents. The ClipBanker Trojan warnings, if clicked, will trigger a fake alert about corrupted system files that need to be erased.
