Cinplus is a Potentially Unwanted Program. After being installed on a computer, Cinplus may create countless problems on the affected machine and Web browser. Cinplus may be responsible for the appearance of large numbers of irritating advertising content which may affect the most commonly used Web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
In most cases, computer users install Cinplus without being completely aware. This is because Cinplus may be bundled with other software. When computer users install a new application (downloaded from unreliable free software websites), the installer will offer to install Cinplus as well. On some cases, the option may be selected by default. Computer users that rush through the installation process may end up being surprised by the presence of Cinplus on their computers.

Advertisement Content Linked to Cinplus
Cinplus may be associated with banner advertisements, pop-up advertisements and coupon offers that appear in the affected Web browser repeatedly. Cinplus may cause system performance issues, including freezing and slowing down as well as exposing the affected computer to other, more threatening types of components by making it more vulnerable due to poorly regulated advertising content and changes to Web browser settings. This is why it is advised that computer users refrain from clicking on advertisements associated with Cinplus and instead to remove the Cinplus PUP from the affected computer immediately.
The Main Duty of Cinplus is to Deliver Advertisements
Cinplus may insert its advertising content into websites viewed on the affected Web browser. Cinplus may be linked to intrusive boxes that claim to contain several different available coupons for the computer user. Cinplus may underline or highlight certain text on visited websites, turning words into links that promote certain products or services. One of the main problems linked to Cinplus is that Cinplus may display its advertisements constantly, with no choice to disable or remove them. This is because, despite any claims Cinplus makes, the main purpose of Cinplus is to generate revenue for a third party at the expense of the computer users' needs. To do this, Cinplus may display advertisements, generate traffic for sponsored websites and gather information about the computer users' browsing habits.
Common Symptoms that may be Associated with Cinplus
The following are some issues that may be related to Cinplus and similar Web browser add-ons:
- Cinplus may insert banner advertisements into Web pages that you visit.
- Cinplus may turn certain words in the text of the visited page into links to sponsored content.
- Cinplus may be associated with irritating pop-up advertisements that will try to convince computer users to install fake Web browser or software updates. These may be other PUPs.
- Cinplus may decrease your Web browser security settings and expose your computer to other PUPs.
Avoiding PUPs Like Cinplus
Most PUPs may be distributed by bundling them with free software. In most cases, free software linked to PUPs is distributed through unreliable websites that offer free software downloads. Many legitimate programs that may not be associated with PUPs will be distributed using installers specifically designed to include PUPs in their installation by a third party unrelated to the programs' developers. While installing new software, computer users may not notice that the option to install Cinplus or other PUPs has been selected by default. Although computer users may usually opt out, the option to prevent these types of PUPs may be hidden under custom or advanced installation options. Because of this, to prevent Cinplus and other PUPs, computer users should pay special attention to the installation process of any new software and always use custom or advanced installation options when available.
