CheapNEnjoy is an adware application considered a Potentially Unwanted Program. The goal of CheapNEnjoy is to deliver advertisements to computers despite the fact that CheapNEnjoy is marketed as a way to enhance online shopping via special deals, discounts, coupons and other supposed improvements. The fact is that CheapNEnjoy is mainly designed to generate revenue by spamming computer users with a constant stream of advertisements. These advertisements may be inserted into Web pages viewed on affected Web browsers and also may appear as disruptive pop-up advertisements or new tabs on affected Web browsers. CheapNEnjoy may also alter search results on affected Web browsers so that they include sponsored links and other unwanted content. CheapNEnjoy may track the computer users' online activities and Web browser settings for use in marketing and targeted advertising. Because of this, PC security researchers strongly recommend removing CheapNEnjoy immediately and not permitting similar PUPs to stay on affected computers.

Recognizing CheapNEnjoy and Other PUPs
PUPs like CheapNEnjoy may enter a computer after computer users download and install a free application from an unreliable website. Freeware may be bundled with PUPs like CheapNEnjoy as a way of monetizing this type of software. Once CheapNEnjoy has been installed, CheapNEnjoy may make changes to the affected computer and Web browser's settings. These changes may include making the affected computer more vulnerable to other PUPs, changing its default search engine and homepage, and changing the Windows' settings to allow CheapNEnjoy to start up by default when the PC user logs into Windows. The most common symptoms linked to CheapNEnjoy are the appearance of advertisements and unwanted search results containing phrases such as 'Ads byGetDiscountApp.' PUPs like CheapNEnjoy should be removed immediately to prevent performance problems and to alleviate privacy concerns.
Removing CheapNEnjoy and Similar Adware
Computer users will need to uninstall CheapNEnjoy and similar PUPs manually because, although not being considered threatening, these PUPs may not be detected by conventional security software. However, there are certain security programs that have been updated to deal with low-level threats. PC security analysts recommend using strong security solutions that are capable of doing this as well as dealing with viruses and more severe forms of threats. To remove CheapNEnjoy and similar PUPs, our PC security analysts recommend the following steps:
- Use the Control Panel to uninstall CheapNEnjoy and any PUPs or other components associated with CheapNEnjoy. Also, use your Web browser's Extensions Manager to remove CheapNEnjoy. In some cases, the Web browser's plug-in or extension administrator may not be fully functional due to the way CheapNEnjoy is installed.
- Remove all files and folders associated with CheapNEnjoy from your computer.
- Remove all registry entries linked to CheapNEnjoy from the Windows Registry. This may be done by searching for strings linked to CheapNEnjoy (such as the word 'CheapNEnjoy' itself). This step is crucial because it will prevent CheapNEnjoy from being installed again automatically.
- Undo any unwanted changes to your Web browser's settings. Some changes that CheapNEnjoy makes to your Web browser settings may include lowering its security settings, replacing the default search engine and homepage with content linked to CheapNEnjoy automatically, and interfering with other Web browser extensions and plug-ins.
- Use a strong, reliable security program to scan your computer to ensure that all content linked to CheapNEnjoy has been removed completely.
To keep your machine protected, malware researchers recommend taking additional steps when installing new software. Computer users should search for custom or advanced installation options that allow them to opt out of CheapNEnjoy and similar PUPs that are bundled automatically with free software downloads.
