The CalendarSpark Toolbar software by Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. is promoted at Free.calendarspark.com as a tool that can help you download printable calendars for free. The company offers versions for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome, which differ in functionality slightly. For example, the version for Chrome changes your new tab page to hxxp://hp.myway.com/calendarspark/ttab02/index.html. The versions adapted to IE and Firefox function identically and change the homepage and new tab to hxxp://hp.myway.com/calendarspark/ttab02/index.html. Additionally, all versions of the CalendarSpark trigger a browser redirect to:
hxxp://ext.ask.com/index.jhtml?productName=CalendarSpark&installDate=2017080104&partnerId=^CEQ^foxyyy^TTAB02^bg&si=&tbGuid=7D125CD2-BCC5-4AE1-BAAC-D8A57778D154&coId=64e6c4e7dcde4de29640dea2507af492
Mindspark works with Ask.com to offer search services and users may be invited to add the 'Search Extension by Ask' app to their Internet browser after the CalendarSpark Toolbar is finished installing. If you add the 'Search Extension by Ask' app to your browser, your primary search provider would be changed once more to Search.tb.ask.com. Both CalendarSpark and 'Search Extension by Ask' require access to your bookmarks collection, Internet history, third-party extensions, themes, and data exchanged online for market development purposes. The CalendarSpark product by Mindspark is an ad-supported program, which allows you to download calendar templates and print them free-of-charge. You might be interested to know that the CalendarSpark Toolbar is a re-named version of the MyCalendarPlanner Toolbar from Free.mycalendarplanner.com released by Mindspark earlier. The initial release was not received very well considering that the app was involved in the display of targeted marketing materials and reported to cause unwanted browser redirects. Tests of CalendarSpark showed that Mindspark only renamed their old software and provided it to users on an "as-is basis" with no improvements whatsoever.
The CalendarSpark Toolbar by Mindspark is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may facilitate the display of personalized commercials on your new tab page powered by hxxp://hp.myway.com/calendarspark/ttab02/index.html. Computer security analysts advise users to read the terms of use and privacy agreement published on Eula.mindspark.com/eula/#Privacy and Eula.mindspark.com/eula/, as well as the associated documentation at Apnstatic.ask.com/static/searchapp/documents/legal/en/ask_eula.html and Ask.com/privacy-policy. Web surfers should make an informed decision on whether to keep using CalendarSpark or remove it. If you are looking to remove CalendarSpark and 'Search Extension by Ask' along with tracking cookies and other residual files take advantage of a trustworthy anti-spyware scanner.
