The ByteMovie application is associated with the video sharing platform at Bytemovie.com that many users may know as a place to watch movies for free. In that regard, the ByteMovie application is similar to MovieMaster, Movies Tab and Movie Wizard. The ByteMovie application may allow users to watch box office hits and trailers for upcoming movies, but it is an adware. The ByteMovie adware may arrive on your computer with a free software installer that is signed by Lamhouse Media LLC. The ByteMovie adware might offer users to register their phone number and email address to receive updates on their favorite movies via email and SMS. Security experts do not recommend users to provide that type of contact information to the handlers of the ByteMovie adware because it may be used to register users for premium phone services.
Additionally, the ByteMovie adware is created by the infamous Informer Technologies Inc. and has code that is seen in the WatchAnyGame and MP3Spun adware. The ByteMovie adware may use DOM storage data and HTML cookies to load personalized commercials in your browser. The ads by ByteMovie may be placed on the bottom and top section of the pages you browse and appear as banners. The ByteMovie adware may display pop-up windows with marketing offers from Chinese online stores like AliExpress and FocalPrice that some users may not welcome. The ByteMovie adware may increase the time it takes for the pages to load and use ActionScripot to load video commercials on YouTube that may prevent users from enjoying high-definition video content. The ByteMovie adware may affect Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox by using a browser plug-in and runtime DLLs. Computer users might want to use a trusted anti-spyware tool to find and remove all components of the ByteMovie adware safely.
