ButterflyField Toolbar is a potentially bad toolbar that may integrate itself into the Web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. ButterflyField Toolbar may claim to improve the PC user's Internet surfing quality. ButterflyField Toolbar may spread and install itself on the Web browser as an optional application through bundled free software that PC users can download from suspicious download websites. Upon installation, ButterflyField Toolbar may modify the default homepage and search engine or a new tab window with an untrustworthy website. ButterflyField Toolbar may also track the computer user's Internet browsing activity by recording browsing information and then transfer and use it for the purpose of delivering targeted ads. ButterflyField Toolbar may insert a plug-in, add-on or browser extension, which may be used to show annoying pop-up advertisements and notifications on the PC. ButterflyField Toolbar may strive to benefit from clicks on advertisements and notifications.
