Bronav.com is a browser hijacker that changes the search engine and homepage settings of Web browsers to hxxps://Bronav.com. Bronav.com can change the default settings for browsers automatically. Bronav.com appears to be a hijacker that is spreading across the Internet. Once it has found its way onto a computer, Bronav.com loads the browser extension that will make Bronav.com as the default homepage, as well as the search engine and new tab settings. A Browser Helper Object (BHO) also is introduced so that it can protect the browser hijacker settings from being changed back to default. Because of that, Bronav.com always will reinstate itself after every startup, no matter how many times the browser is reconfigured.

Due to this intrusive behavior, Bronav.com may seem hard to get rid of, but thankfully that is not the case. The main goal of Bronav.com is to override the settings of browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari and Mozilla Firefox. At this time, system files and other software installations are not affected by the browser hijacker. A look at the Bronav.com homepage shows that it claims to give easy access to online services. Bronav.com has a number of links and icons to access social networks, games, online news, tv and video sites, sports, music more quickly, with a Google-powered search bar on top. Although Bronav.com is providing links to useful and legitimate websites, the behavior of its connected browser hijacker is invasive, to say the least. This hijacker type is often used alongside adware and other Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs).
