BlueBorne

BlueBorne is a serious vulnerability by which hackers can take advantage of Bluetooth connections to infiltrate and completely command the infected computer. After it’s discovery a little over a year after the BlueBorne infection was made public in 2017, over 2 billion IoT machines are still vulnerable to the Bluetooth driver increasing susceptibility.

The BlueBorne vulnerabilities use Wind River VxWorks versions since version 6.5 that contains the IPnet stack is damaged by the group of bugs, which are called “URGENT/11.”

VxWorks is an actual-time operating system that third-party hardware manufacturers have hidden in more than two billion machines across enterprise, industrial and medical environments
