Blackflightfind.tw is a browser hijacker designed to infiltrate iOS devices. It takes over the most popular Web browsers - Chrome, Safari, Opera, and modifies their settings to open a promoted address. Also, the application can cause an influx of intrusive and unsolicited advertising materials to appear leading to a severely diminished browsing experience on the affected device. Blackflightfind.tw might also attempt to obtain privileges to access the Calendar application and if successful it will inject advertisements there too.

The application itself cannot cause any damage to the device but the advertisements it generates could act as a gateway, exposing the user to various security risks. Destinations such as tech support tactic landing pages or phishing websites designed to scrape all entered information and then send it to third-parties are quite common. Far more serious are the compromised domains that distribute malware threats such as Trojans or ransomware.
