BKDR_POISON.EV is a backdoor Trojan that may be downloaded and installed on the compromised PC by other malware infections, particularly TROJ_PIDIEF.VEV. BKDR_POISON.EVE runs commands from a remote cybercriminal, effectively hijacking the corrupted PC. BKDR_POISON.EVE adds the registry entries so that it can be load automatically whenever Windows is started. BKDR_POISON.EVE captures screenshots, records keystrokes and active window, downloads and embeds remote codes into genuine processes, listens to microphone audio, manages devices (View, Enable, Disable, Remove), processes (View, Kill, Suspend, Unload Module), files (Search, Download, Upload, Execute, Rename, Delete), windows, registries (Search, Modify, Delete, Rename, Create), and services (View, Start, Stop, Edit, Install, Uninstall).
