The Best Price software from Goamuze.com is promoted as a shopping helper aimed at Web surfers who like to save money while shopping online. The Best Price software is packed as a browser extension, which can be found on Goamuze.com/bestprice/ and Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/best-price/hjmkkcnohookadjblmpdoecmoplneceb. The description on the Chrome Web Store states that the Best Price extensions can recognize the products you are viewing online, it scans other online stores for the same item and displays information on the same item with a lower price on competing for online shops. The information compiled by Best Price is enclosed in a drop-down menu in the top right corner of the browser. You can load the Best Price window by clicking on the icon that looks like two yellow labels. You might notice that the icon for the Best Price extension by Goamuze.com is almost identical to the one used by BestBuy.com although both companies are not related.
PC users should take into consideration that Best Price is an ad-supported product and you may be presented with sponsored search results by Goamuze.com as long as you are using the Best Price extension. Tests of the Best Price app showed that the extension performs poorly. We opened product pages on Amazon.com, Aliexpress.com, BestBuy.com, Groupon.com, and Ebay.com to see if the Best Price extension is as useful as the comments on at Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/best-price/hjmkkcnohookadjblmpdoecmoplneceb suggest. The test results show that the Best Price app has trouble identifying the products we loaded. Best Price did not match nearly ninety percent of the items we browsed with their version at a lower price. The Best Price window appeared to include sponsored content and failed to deliver the service it says it provides. To be fair, the page at Goamuze.com/bestprice/ does not say Best Price is compatible with Amazon and Aliexpress, but the Chrome Web Store page features a screenshot of Amazon. Browsing PC games and TVs on sites like Groupon.com and Ebay.com that are supported by Best Price lead us to various retailers that did not offer the same products. Additionally, the Best Price extension performs browser redirects via go.comprigo.com to third-party resellers, which may take a while to load. The Best Price software from Goamuze.com is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that might perform as you expect and suggest the purchase of items unrelated to what you are looking for. Also, the browser redirects via go.comprigo.com caused by Best Price may not be welcomed by many Web surfers. You can uninstall the Best Price software from Goamuze.com through the Extensions Manager in Chrome, and you may be interested in using an anti-spyware tool to erase the tracking cookies downloaded with the browser redirects.
