BatBrowse is a potentially unwanted program that targets all web browsers that are installed on the PC. BatBrowse may trace the web user's Internet surfing activities, display annoying pop-up advertisements and result in irritating redirects to misleading commercial websites. BatBrowse may urge computer users visit affiliated websites and click on pop-up advertisements that contain sponsored links. BatBrowse does not ask an authorization of the PC user to access the computer system. BatBrowse may usually come packed together with freeware and shareware applications that computer users download from insecure download websites on the Internet. BatBrowse may make modifications to the PC that may additionally result in annoying browser redirects and privacy issues of the computer user. BatBrowse may keep track of the computer user's surfing activities and use his sensitive details for marketing purposes.
