Backdoor:Win32/Kanav.D

Backdoor:Win32/Kanav.D, otherwise known as TrojanDropper:Win32/Kanav.D, is a Trojan that distributes and executes other malware infections on the affected PC. This is because a program will search for and load the DLL file in its own folder before it searches for the same-named DLL file in the [system folder]. When a program loads Backdoor:Win32/Kanav.D, it downloads and executes the certain file, found as another malware threat, and sets the file with the 'hidden' attribute. Backdoor:Win32/Kanav.D then loads the original Windows system DLL, as was the purpose of the application.
