Av-downloadcenter.com is a malicious website that distributes the rogue application called AVDefender 2011. AVDefender 2011 spreads via Trojans and once it is inside a system it modifies the browser settings causing the browser to be frequently redirected to Av-downloadcenter.com. Once a victim clicks on any of the fake security alerts displayed by AVDefender 2011, he/she will also be redirected to Av-downloadcenter.com. Av-downloadcenter.com is not to be trusted. In order to stop the redirection to Av-downloadcenter.com, victims should use a legitimate anti-spyware application to remove the rogueware from the system.
