AV Center
AV Center or AVCenter is a rogue anti-spyware application that can surreptitiously infiltrate a system. Once inside a system, the trial version of AVCenter will generate fake system scans, pop-up warnings and security alerts. AVCenter will also cause a system to deteriorate in performance in order to convince a user that his/her machine is infected and the only solution is to purchase its "full" version. Do not fall for this scam; AVCenter is unable to locate or remove malware from computers.
