Anti-Virus Elite (aka Anti-Virus Elite 2010) is a fake security program that is not capable of detecting or removing any type of malware. Anti-Virus Elite typically enters user's systems with the help of stealthy Trojans. Once inside a system, Anti-Virus Elite will run a system scan and produce a scan report claiming that a user's computer is infected with several computer parasites. The scan report and any other security warnings displayed by Anti-Virus Elite are there to scare a victim into purchasing the "full version" of Anti-Virus Elite in order to remove the detected parasites. This is a scam; Anti-Virus Elite is a useless program that should not be purchased.
