The AllStarDeals browser plug-in may claim to expand your options to save money on sites like Amazon and eBay, but it is perceived as adware. Security experts note that the AllStarDeals adware is coded with the aim of generating a steady flow of affiliate marketing revenue for its developers by showing many ads in the Web browser of infected users. However, AllStarDeals can not simply display random ads, and it may use session cookies and detect the approximate geographical location to personalize the advertisements affected users see. The AllStarDeals adware may be distributed with freeware bundles that most users may install with the "Express' or 'Typical' option without a second thought. Security experts do not consider the ads displayed by adware such as AllStarDeals, Deal2Deal and Oh My Coupons to be safe, and you could be redirected to potentially harmful domains. The AllStarDeals adware may use banners, floating ads, full page promotions and pop-up windows to serve marketing content to users. The AllStarDeals adware may affect Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Additionally, the AllStarDeals adware may use pop-under windows to welcome users to install applications like Driver Performer and Easy Error that are deemed as rogue registry cleaners. The AllStarDeals adware may not appear in your 'Control Panel' and you may want to use a credible anti-spyware tool to find all of its files and delete it securely.
