Threat Database Browser Hijackers

The website may claim to host engaging media or useful data; however, rest assured that none of these claims are true. This website is an empty page whose goal is to hijack your Web browser notifications and use them to flood you with advertisements. This is a trick called 'Please Click Allow to Continue,' and it is utilized by many fake websites online.

As soon as the users launch the site, they will be required to click on the 'Allow' button to be granted access to the page's content. Unfortunately, as we mentioned, this site does not host any content, and visitors who follow its instructions will allow the page to send them Web browser notifications. If you have granted reputable pages the permission to send you push-notifications via your Web browser, you may think this is no big deal. However, the site will not use this privilege mindfully as genuine websites do. Instead, this dodgy site will make sure to spam you with unwanted advertisements relentlessly. This means that even closing your Web browser will not help you as the advertisements will continue to be spawned. Malware experts advise users to avoid clicking on any of the advertisements affiliated with the shady website. This is because they may be promoting unsafe content like untrustworthy gambling platforms, various pornographic content, fake giveaways, etc.

Users who are bombarded by advertisements linked with the activity of the page should revoke all the permissions given to the site using their Web browser's configurations.
