Adware.ViewPlay is an adware threat that may be advertised and spread via numerous unsafe freeware downloads and, once installed on the computer system, it may change the default Web browser settings. Adware.ViewPlay may replace the default start page and search provider with a suspicious website created to probably boost website traffic and generate advertising income from clicks on ads. Adware.ViewPlay may generate and display pop-up advertisements carrying discount coupons and sponsored links in search results in any well-known search engine. Adware.ViewPlay may collect search terms from the computer user's search queries and transmit them to third-parties for the aim of delivering targeted ads. Adware.ViewPlay may proliferate and install itself onto the PC as an additional application bundled with various free software that might have added into their installation package Adware.ViewPlay. When the PC user installs any free application, he may also agree to install Adware.ViewPlay on the computer system.
