Media Watch is adware that may show a variety of pop-up advertisements and messages on the PC and attempt to advertise various commercial websites. Media Watch may propagate and enter the computer packaged with a variety of free applications that the PC users download from suspicious download websites. Media Watch may be embedded into Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Web browsers. Upon installation, Media Watch may show unwanted pop-ups advertisements and notifications with the text 'Ads by Media Watch' on the bottom right corner. 'Ads by Media Watch' may show up any time, no matter what website the computer user visits. The content of 'Ads by Media Watch' may involve ads of free downloads, commercial offers and other sale, all of them probably encompassing links to the associated websites. The main intention of Media Watch may be to raise traffic of affiliated websites and increase their page ranking in search results.
