Adware.Fortunitas is adware that may show random pop-up ads, discount coupons, deals and offers when computer users are visiting online shopping websites. Adware.Fortunitas may be embedded into the popular Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome without a PC user's permission. Adware.Fortunitas may commonly circulate and invade the PC through packed free software that computer users download from the Internet. When the computer user chooses to install any free application, it might carry additional toolbars, browser plug-ins and add-ons in the installation package. These tools, specifically Adware.Fortunitas, are marked as optional software, but if the PC user does not deselect a check box for embedding them, this may lead to unwanted system changes. Adware.Fortunitas may trace the PC user's browsing habits and send and use collected data for the aim of targeted advertising.
