Aducky is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which may emerge on operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Aducky may be download inadvertently as an optional application packaged with other free tools, or intentionally, as beneficial software that can help PC users save time and money when carrying out an online shopping. Aducky may execute a variety of annoying actions on the computer system, such as unwillingly divert PC users to untrustworthy websites that may be promotional, generate and display disturbing pop-up advertisements and notifications with the text 'Ads by Aducky' or 'Brought to you by Aducky' and slow down any web browser installed on the PC. Aducky may trace the computer user's surfing activity and gather details such as visited websites and information that was entered on those web pages.
